Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is on break through summer, and will resume in Fall 2024. Please see our Special Programs and other children’s ministry links (above) in the interim.

Children of all ages are welcome to come and learn with us on Sunday mornings at 9:15 AM (following the first worship service).

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is experiential, child led religious formation designed to help each child fall in love with God and develop a vibrant spiritual life. We use the CGS model for children from infancy through age 12.

About the Adults in the Room

Timothy Klatt, Catechist
timothy.klatt@gmail.com
Tim has worked as an assisting and lead catechist at St. David’s and ECR since 2011. Tim has a Master’s Degree in Engineering and owns and operates multiple companies. You may have a chance to experience his tasty fermented products at an event at Resurrection. He is amazed at children’s ability to synthesize information and to express profound theological concepts at a very young age in the atrium.

Jesse KlattDirector of Children's Ministries
jesse@ecraustin.org
Working with children inspires Jesse to ponder essential truths with joy and gratitude. In 2010, when her first child was three, she fell in love with Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Jesse has spent over 400 hours in formation to help her better serve children in the Atrium. She spends her days appreciating nature and delving into literature, history and science with her four children. She also loves sourdough baking, gardening and fermenting vegetables.
