Our Staff

Priest

We are pleased to have the Rev. Cameron Spoor as our Part-Time Vicar. Cameron is a passionate and creative servant leader who believes that God is abundantly present in this world. He acknowledges that Christ seeks to knit all of creation together in renewed recreation, and that the Holy Spirit is far more present and palpable than we often realize. For all these reasons and more, Cameron is so excited to be with everyone at ECR.

GET TO KNOW THE VICAR: CAMERON’S FAVORITE THINGS

When not preparing a sermon, Cameron loves riding bikes, especially with his son, Quentin.  He also enjoys pub trivia and board games at home with his family.  But he especially loves to cook. In fact, he is the main cook for his household and enjoys taking the time to make delicious food for his family.  “I can tell when I've gotten too busy or too focused on work because I forget to slow down and have fun in the kitchen,” he said.

Cameron loves to make Saturday morning breakfast with Quentin, and they frequently make biscuits together. They also make pancakes and other fun breakfast foods.

Sometimes, Cameron will buy interesting ingredients to try with Quentin. Sounds like training for a Top Chef contestant!

FAVORITE BOOKS: The Artist’s Way and Rest is Resistance
