Easter Sunday

An especially fun time for young and old! We will host an Easter Egg Hunt in our garden on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024.

Come for the Eucharistic service at 10:00 AM, enjoy an egg hunt around 11:15 AM, and stay for some food to counteract the sugar!

Spring 2024 invites youth to attend Eucharistic services on the Second and Third Sundays of each month to learn new ways of practicing service and worship.

Second Sundays - Songs of the Service
March 10, April 14, May 12

Children (and adults) can come early at 9:30 AM to learn the songs of the service before the Eucharistic service begins at 10:00 AM. The program will include songs we hear weekly, plus a few traditional songs of praise. Everyone should feel capable of participating in services of praise on Sundays or melodic shouts of joy throughout the week. This is geared for children but anyone is welcome.

April will focus on learning the Gloria, Doxology, and Sanctus, with an explanation of the other songs heard during the service (prelude, processional hymn, Gospel hymn, offertory, communion hymn, and the missional hymn).

Third Sundays - Little Chefs
March 17, April 21, May 19

Children are invited to our 10:00 AM Eucharistic service where there will be a children’s sermon followed by guided recipe preparation. The youth will don aprons and help to prepare snacks and food to share with the congregation. The snacks will be shared with the whole congregation at 11:00 AM, and youth get to keep a recipe card of the prepared food.
